Hello all!
This is my first time on this site.
I would like to tell what I really like the topic "Mini Medium Size RC Helicopter".
I've been reading it for a while, and I have learned so much here.
So, I decided to try my luck asking a few questions...
How can you IM, PM or whatever you call it to certain members? .
I'd like to ask more questions about this project.

Build has been on hold for a week whilst I pondered over this.
Only wish I had found this site earlier as it's packed with a wealth of knowledge, advice and people willing to help.

I try to make a habbit of thanking perticularly good websites, or other
informative resources. When I start with a new topic it can take awhile
to judge a sites credability, and I usually forget how much I've
learned
from those sites. Your one of those sites, I learned your site was
honest, to the point and direct... I'm glad google pointed me here, and
I've been to helitown.com atleast 5 times looking for other things.
Just
like today when looking on how to use my newly purchased Pitch  guage
for
my newly crashed Blade CP.... I found what I needed almost instantly
(even though google didnt point me to the right page, it DID point me
to
the correct site)

I am Griffin. Thank you for the wonderful site. I found a link on a South African site while trying to find more information on RC Helicopters. I am amazed at the community spirit that you and the other moderators have managed to engendered, I am even more amazed at how supportive the members are of one another. There has been some interesting debates but yet to find any back stabbing and politics. I fly microlights (or did?) and work in the aviation industry and I am a member of a number of forums. In all of them we have groups who gang up an any one who dares to question the "experts" or who chooses to fly a different plane. I feel very welcome and comfortable on your site and wanted to send you a small token of my appreciation. What ever it is you are doing keep it up.

PS I was going to saw that joining your site has saved me money by letting me learn from other peoples mistakes. The problem is that I am now no longer satisfied with upgrading to a small Belt CP  or a TRex 450. Now I want a BIG Helicopter. Guess I need to remember that I have to learn to walk before I can run. (Guess my bank manager will help me remember that)
