I'm planning to get a Trex 500 clone heli, there's quite a few choices, belt drive, Torque tube drive, which one?
HKT500
HK500GT
EXI500 plastic
EXI500 carbon
Flasher 500

I'm knida parcel to the EXI. I have a 450 clone and after adding my own electrics, would put it up against any heli of the same size. They seem to be inexpensive but good quality for the money. The 500's are 99% compatible to a T-Rex, so parts won't be an issue.

You weren't kidding were you.
Sweet,,, looks like a good deal for what you get. For that price, you just can't go wrong. If the horns are missing they will be easy to gather up. Heck I got bags full of off the wall brand horns that might fit, I'll be glad to send you what I have.
I'v been considering a 500 size heli too. Don got one a few months back and used it to do his first few flips. They seem to be more stable than a 450 but without the loss of agility of a 550 or 30.
Let us know your final cost, should be interesting.

I would love to get into a new bird.
If I get money ahead sometime soon,
sounds like the ideal setup.
estarter, looking forward to the build threads.
